This reporter spelunked her way into Madison, Wisconsin — the Athens of the Midwest, I’ve heard it called — after three formative years in NYC and some good times in Costa Rica. Experienced in and disenchanted by journalism (circa 2007-2010…) and educated in foreign affairs and the big J, I originally dedicated this blog to the most logical subject, music.
